Online Casino Gamblers Demand Rights

The Constitution is based on the right of people to have what is necessary to enjoy a safe and decent life. Within our society, many sub-groups have developed their own bill of rights geared specifically toward their own needs. Online casino players are no exception. These gamblers recently pooled their opinions of what should constitute an Online Casino Player Bill of Rights in a thread on a popular message board frequented by online casino gamblers.Most suggestions put forward by online casino players showed that players wanted to feel safe in their gambling environments. These were displayed by statements such as: "The online casino should pay its winners when they win" or "The rules and regulations at the online casino should be fair and unambiguous". Gamblers also demanded fair play, quick payment and the guarantee of confidentiality. While most online casinos claim to offer all of the above, the gamblers felt that a proper bill of rights would force sites into upholding their promises.
e-COGRA and other online casino regulation bodies should take note of the online casino players are saying. A universally accepted bill of rights for gamblers might not be such a bad, nor unrealistic, idea. In the meantime, the player's bill of rights seems to be a hot topic of discussion on message boards.
